The identification and prioritization of sustainability issues is fundamental to ensure that the material topics reflect the evolving ESG issues. For this, we conduct a materiality assessment every two years to reassess the relevance of sustainability topics. In FY2025-26, we voluntarily carried out Double Materiality Assessment (DMA). Insights from the double materiality assessment are built into our ERM framework to manage risks and seize opportunities.
Our Approach
Identification of Material Topics
A comprehensive peer benchmarking exercise was conducted as per industry standards, ratings and frameworks such as SASB, MSCI, ESRS, DJSI, GRESB, CDP and BRSR.
Stakeholder Engagement
Capacity building sessions were conducted with the relevant internal and external stakeholders to enhance understanding of double materiality.
Analysis of Stakeholder Inputs
One-to-One consultations were carried out with key stakeholders to gain perspectives on emerging and evolving ESG issues.
Prioritization of Material Topics
Consolidation of stakeholder responses were done to evaluate and prioritize the material topics.
Materiality Matrix
Basis the prioritization, a materiality matrix was developed across two dimensions - impact and financial materiality.
Finalization of Materiality Matrix and Topics
Material outcomes were reviewed and finalized across Environmental, Social and Governance pillars.
